A fun way to get the news is on the website Fark.com. It lists news stories from well known and obscure sources---from cnn to wonkette. The listings are current but also go back several years . It covers everything from politics to sports and entertainment.

My first post

After much trepidation, and fellow staff members encouragement, I am starting my blog. I am hopeful that ideas will come to me, but for now my mind is blank. Each new step is intimidating, forcing me to try to be creative, a quality I'm sorely lacking. On the other hand, with time, I can imagine that this will become somewhat enjoyable. I'm looking forward to that day!
