My first post

After much trepidation, and fellow staff members encouragement, I am starting my blog. I am hopeful that ideas will come to me, but for now my mind is blank. Each new step is intimidating, forcing me to try to be creative, a quality I'm sorely lacking. On the other hand, with time, I can imagine that this will become somewhat enjoyable. I'm looking forward to that day!

Welcome to the blog-o-sphere. It becomes more and more second nature as you play with this stuff. Lots of the people in the program are blogging up a storm. Don't let them scare you! To do this program, all you have to do is go through the 23 things and create a blog post about each one. That's enough to keep us busy over the summer. One word of advice, you end up creating accounts on a lot of sites as you go through the Things. Keep good notes of your user names and passwords so you don't get lost. I used the same user name and password on several sites so I wouldn't have to keep track of so many. That helped.

Wow... Martha on the net! I love it. Now all you need is a picture... or a book review!

These are the rules: Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, and then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged, and asking them to read your blog.

1. I (used) to collect tacky snowglobes. I have about 125.
2. My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip.
3. I have a tattoo and am trying to design my second one. My first one was a midlife crisis tattoo.
4. I used to work with Howard Stern.
5. I want a pug and if I ever get one I'm going to name him Rex.
6. I really, really, really want the Wii.
7. I am really, really, really having a hard time thinking of 8 things that I can post without getting in trouble.
8. I honestly feel that if no one sees you eat something, then the calories don't count.

So you have been tagged. You know the rules. Have fun.
